Major’s Contracting Limited (MCL) is a privately-owned, family business with more than 35 years of experience in timber harvesting and forest biomass production; transmission line clearing; support for transmission line construction; forest road and bridge construction; road maintenance and snow clearing; highway bridge construction and maintenance; and trucking.

As a contractor and employer, MCL is recognized throughout Newfoundland for its innovativeness and high quality work, performed safely and in a manner that respects today’s increasingly sensitive environmental requirements. During peak operating periods, the company has over 100 full-time employees.
